Western Corridor Recycled Water Project
South East Queensland.

The Western Corridor Recycled Water Scheme project involves the construction of several pipelines, water
treatment plants and pump stations.  An “Eastern Pipeline Alliance”, consisting of State of Queensland,
Transfield Services (Australia) Limited, A.J.Lucas Group Limited, McCall’s Pty Ltd, Sun Water and GHD
Pty Ltd has been formed for the engineering, procurement & construction of works including the Luggage
Point to Bundamba pipeline and Oxley to Bundamba pipeline.

Infrastruction was awarded the civil construction work associated with the Pump Stations and Storage
Tanks at three locations:

  • Goodna
  • OxleyCreek
  • Wacol

The scope of work for construction of these Pumping Station includes excavation, shoring, dewatering,
precast driven piling, supply and compacting of underlay, supply and lay concrete and reinforcement,
blockwork 225 thick, backfilling, surface restoration, soil disposal, soil stockpiling, cast in items and the
installation only of the inlet outlet pipes.

The scope of work for construction of these Storage Tanks includes excavation, shoring, dewatering, supply
and compacting of underlay, supply and lay concrete and reinforcement, backfilling, surface restoration, soil
disposal, soil stockpiling, cast in items and the installation only of the inlet outlet pipes.
